• Date from depiction of fort "La presentation" (see Add Ms 57,707.7.) which was renamed by the British in 1760.
• Names "R. Toniata", "Les isles de Toniata" and "L'anglais" only. River Toniata is presumed to be present-day Jones Creek, a tributary of the Saint Lawrence River, near Grenadier Island.
• Shows scale at lower centre, "ECHELLE DE 10 LIEUES" (10 previously read 20, corrected by a later hand?).
• Oriented with north to the bottom of the map (?).
• Compare also Add Ms 57,707.5. and Add Ms 57,707.7., and Add Ms 57,707.9. and Add Ms 57,707.10.
