Notes | - Finished, colored, strip map of the British bypass of the lower Mississippi using the Iberville River.
- Includes a paragraph of explanatory remarks and notations along the course of the route.
- Marks site of Fort Bute.
- A written report, with Strachan's recommendations, is dated 28 January 1767 and addressed to Gen. William Tayler and enclosed in Tayler to Gage 3 March 1767. The map was forwarded to Gage by Tayler in a letter from Pensacola dated 23 January 1767.
- Several of the notations on the map are in the hand of Gen. Tayler.
